Order Help

How to Order fabric swatches?

You can order our fabric swatches in 2 ways.
1) Visit the curtain product page, and click the text “Add Swatch To Cart”.
2) Visit our Fabric Swatches page, click “Add to cart” below the one you want.

We ship our fabric swatches from California via USPS. Delivery typically takes 3-8 days.

Can I order fabric only?

Yes, please contact us via support@unicurt.com with fabric type, quantity, and usage details for custom textile solutions.

Discount Code not Working?

Please note that only one discount code can be applied to an order. Check the potential issue below:

  • Check if the code is expired.
  • Check if the code has any limitations on the products or order amount in your cart.
  • Check if the code is only available to specific email address.

If you still encounter any difficulties, please feel free to contact us at support@unicurt.com.

Combining Discount Codes?

Our site supports only one discount code per order. Please apply the code that gives you the highest discount.

Can't place an order or payment failed?

If you are not able to place an order:

  • Please send us the curtain details you would like, including Curtain Name, Color, Header Style, Size, Lining Option and Quantity, or just send us the sreenshot of the details.
  • You can choose to provide them via email(support@unicurt.com), text or phone call(+1 646-294-4253) at your convinience.
  • We will create the order and send you an invoice based on the details.

If there is an issue with payment, please try troubleshooting steps:

  • Check network stability & card limits
  • Try alternative payment methods
  • If you can provide a screenshot of the error, it will help us fix the issue.

If still not working, please contact us with curtain details and we will create the order for you.

Didn't receive any Order Number?

If you haven’t received your order number or confirmation email, please follow these steps:
1) Check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes, order confirmation emails can be filtered into these folders.
2) Contact us at support@unicurt.com with the email address used to place the order and our support team will be there to help.

Wrong size/color ordered?

We sincerely apologize for any size/color discrepancies. For client-side specification errors on custom curtains, we regret that finalized orders cannot be altered. But please contact us with details and we will see what we can do on our side to help fix that.

Should the error be confirmed as our production oversight, we will immediately initiate a priority remake at no cost. Please contact us via support@unicurt.com or live chat for assistance.

Applied incorrect coupon code?

Please email us with order number & both codes to support@unicurt.com. The price difference will be refunded if valid. (Expired codes not applied)

How to measure for curtains?

  1. Measure the window width from outer frame;
  2. Decide and add how many inches you would like the rod to extend outside the window frame, at least 6-10 inches on each side is recommended.
  3. Measure the height from where you plan to install the rod/track to where you want the curtains to end.
  4. Use our Measurement Tool or book Schedule to work out the best measurements for your custom panels.

Can I change order details?

Before your custom curtains start production, you can make adjustments to size/liner/headers. To change that, please contact our customer service team(support@unicurt.com) with order # for immediate assistance.

Since they are custom items, once they are under production, sorry that adjustments are not allowed.

Product Information

How many curtain panels do I need to order?

Our curtains are sold per panel. Quantity 1 means 1 single panel. For a typical window, you may want to order 2 panels (one for each side).

Do curtains come with lining by default?

Curtains are not lined by default. You can choose lining options for your custom orders. The finished lining length is roughly 1.25″ shorter than the finished length of the drapery panel, which is the industry standard. If you have specific needs, please let us know.

What are the different header styles available?

How do I understand "Width of Curtains"?

  • For double pinch pleat: 2x fabric fullness to create pleats and folds
  • For triple pinch pleat: 2.5x fabric fullness
  • For S-fold Header: 2.6x fabric fullness
  • For other headers: 1x fabric fullness

Pleated curtains panel width is built with fullness, and is measured from the left pleat to the right pleat, return not included.

What is the smallest recommended width for grommet drapery?

The minimum recommended width is 25 inches. Products smaller than 25 inches may have a poorer visual effect.

What is the maximum size of your extra-large curtains?

There is no limit on solid curtain sizes. If both the width and the length are longer than 104″, we will splice the fabrics, and some vertical splicing seams may be visible.
The maximum length of pattern curtains is 104″. If the length is longer than the maximum, we will rotate the pattern 90 degrees.

Do orders come with hooks?

Adjusting the hooks is easy. To lower the hook, simply pull it down to your desired position. If you need to raise it, pull the hook all the way down and out through the open bottom, then reinsert it at the desired height for a perfect fit.

How many curtain rings will I need?

For pinch pleat curtains, the space between pleats is around 5″. To calculate the number of rings needed, please divide your panel width by 5, then add 1. For example, a 25″ wide panel would need 6 rings (25÷5+1=6).

What size rod (diameter) would I need to fit the grommet sizes?

Our grommets have a 1.6″ inside diameter, suitable for curtain rods with a diameter no greater than 1.5″.

Can your curtains be used on a curtain track system?

Absolutely! Our custom curtains work well with track systems. The pinch pleat header is your best option for this setup. Our pinch pleat curtains come with FREE adjustable hooks or metal pins, making it easy to hang them on a curtain track system.

Can I order blackout curtains?

Unicurt offers two options for achieving blackout effects:

  1. Custom Curtains with Blackout Liner: Select any of our window curtains and add a blackout liner. This allows you to enjoy your chosen curtain style while benefiting from light-blocking properties.
  2. 100% Blackout Curtains: Our blackout curtains are crafted from specialized fabric that inherently blocks all light. These curtains are self-blackout and don’t require an additional liner. Find them here: 100% Blackout Custom Curtains

Can I order fabric directly from UniCurt?

Yes! Please email us at support@unicurt.com with the fabric material, color, and size (in inches). We will quote you the fabric charge and shipping fee. We can also help with creating custom items like tablecloths, pillow covers, or tissue box covers from our fabrics to meet your personalized needs.

Are cafe curtains pleated differently than regular curtains?

No, if they share the same pleat style, there is no difference for the pleat specification but they do differ on heming.

How do I order a valance in the same fabric?

Please send us a picture of the valance style you want to support@unicurt.com. We will reply as soon as possible and ask for size and other details if needed.

Can you make door curtains, patio curtains, or other unusual curtains?

Yes, we can make unusual curtains like door curtains for French doors or bed canopy sheers. Please contact us at support@unicurt.com when you have special needs, and we will assist you with the order processing.

How do I order special header styles for French doors, bed canopies, outdoor areas, and other occasions?

If you need a special header style based on your own hardware, just send us a picture of your hardware to support@unicurt.com. We will reply promptly and help with your special customization.

I am a designer with special needs in pattern and color. Can you accommodate this?

Certainly! Please send us an image of your pattern, and we can customize it using digital print techniques. Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen compared to the finished fabric.

Can I add lining to sheer curtains?

It’s not recommended to add lining to sheer curtains. Extra lining can make them heavier and thicker, which diminishes their airy, light appeal and reduces the amount of sunlight entering the room. For better light control, consider lightweight semi-sheer curtains or linen curtains instead.

What is memory shaping/training?

How should I care for and wash my curtains?

  • Gentle cycle machine washable in cold water or hand wash
  • Hang dry or dry on low heat
  • Wipe clean, dry clean, and do not bleach
  • Steam iron when the fabric is still damp
  • Some fabrics become heavier after absorbing water, so we recommend using a one-piece washing machine for larger curtains
  • If using an iron, please use a low temperature setting to avoid burning the curtains
Shipping & Delivery

When will I receive my order?

Total delivery timeline (12-20 business days) includes:

  • Production period: 5-10 business days
  • Standard shipping : 7-10 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: +$30, arrives in 3–5 days

What should I do if my package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all?

If your package is damaged or lost:

  1. Capture photos of any damaged packaging
  2. File a report with the delivery carrier
  3. Reach out to our team at support@unicurt.com and we’ll resolve the issue (either locating your package or creating a replacement once the carrier confirms the loss)

How can I monitor my shipment?

  1. Visit your UniCurt account dashboard to view current order status
  2. Use the Track Order button in the footer menu (under “Help”) and enter your tracking number from your confirmation email
  3. Contact us support@unicurt.com if you need additional tracking assistance

Can I update my delivery address after placing an order?

Yes, within a 48-hour window. Email support@unicurt.com with your order number and new address information. We’ll update your shipping details within 48 hours and send a confirmation email.

What are your shipping rates?

  • We offer FREE SHIPPING on ALL custom curtains, curtain tracks & rods worldwide.
  • We also  provide an expedited shipping option for an additional charge of $30.
  • For farbric  swatches orders have a $4.99 shipping fee.

How will I know when my order has been shipped?

Custom orders typically ship within 5-10 business days after purchase. You’ll receive a shipping email with tracking information once your order is on its way.

What shipping carriers do you use?

  • Fabric swatches and sample booklets: Delivered by USPS or DHL with standard mailbox delivery (no signature required)
  • Custom curtains, tracks & rods: Shipped via UPS, FedEx, or DHL Express with door-to-door service. Signature may be required upon delivery to ensure your items arrive safely.
Return & Refund

What is your return policy for custom curtains?

Since all our window treatments are custom-made specifically for your measurements and specifications, they unfortunately cannot be resold to other customers. For this reason, we only accept returns for quality-related issues.

If you’re not fully satisfied with your custom curtains, please contact our customer service team to discuss your concerns. We value your satisfaction and we will see what we can do to fix that.

Who covers shipping costs for returns?

If there is any issues with your order, please  contact us first and let us know, and we will try to find out a best solution for you.

If you’re returning curtains, all return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

How and when will I receive my refund?

Once you’ve agreed to the refund amount, our finance department will process your refund request within 24 hours. We’ll email you confirmation of the refund submission with documentation.
Please note that refunds typically take 1-15 business days to appear in your original payment method, depending on your financial institution’s processing timeframes.

How do I contact customer service about my order?

Can I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order, we’re happy to process a full refund provided the order hasn’t yet entered production or been shipped. You’ll receive an email confirmation of your cancellation along with a receipt, and we’ll keep you informed about your refund status.
Because all our products are custom-manufactured to your specifications, we cannot cancel orders or issue refunds once production has begun or the order has shipped.
