Return & Refund Policy

We UniCurt-Insist on providing the best handmade custom curtains for you. If it happens you don't like our curtains, please read the return & refund policy below.

1. Overview


At UniCurt.com, we strive to provide you with the best shopping experience, especially when it comes to custom curtains tailored to your specific needs. We understand that sometimes the product may not meet your expectations. Therefore, we have established the following Return and Refund Policy to ensure your satisfaction.

2. Cancellation


We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your order before it is shipped or produced. In such cases, we happily accept order cancellations and will provide you with a full refund.

However, please note that once the custom process is started, we are unable to process cancellations, returns, or refunds. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

3. 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee


If our product has defects in material or workmanship, or does not meet your ordered specifications (e.g., size, style, etc.), we guarantee to resolve the issue at no cost to you within 60 days from the purchase date. If the issue cannot be resolved, we will re-customize a new set of curtains for you free of charge. Additionally, we cover all shipping costs!

If the curtains you receive don’t fit as expected due to an error in your measurements, we’ll work with you to find a solution. For example, if the panel is too wide, we can alter its width (you would cover the shipping and modification costs). If the problem can’t be fixed—like the curtains being too narrow, too short, or needing a fabric change—we’ll offer a 50% discount on a second set, available within 60 days of the purchase date.

If you want to claim the 60-day satisfaction guarantee policy, please contact us via support@unicurt.com with the order number and product photos, as well as your claim. We will reply within 24 hours and try to address the issue.

4. Non-returnable


The following situations are not eligible for a return of custom curtains:

  • Misinterpretation of the product image.
  • Curtains do not fit properly, but were made to the correct specifications.
  • Drapes are too heavy.
  • Incorrect color choice.
  • Unmet quality expectations. (Consider ordering fabric samples to confirm color and texture.)
  • Change of mind or no longer needed.
  • Ordered the wrong item by mistake.
  • Incorrect size. A tolerance of +/- 1 inch is considered acceptable within industry standards. The drapery width may be 1-3 inches wider than the purchased width to prevent light leakage from gravity.
  • Delivery arrived later than expected.
  • Items ordered by mistake.
  • Incorrect measurements provided.
  • Color variation due to natural differences in fabric dye lots (reasonable color discrepancies may occur between fabric samples and the finished curtains).
  • Color difference caused by adding a liner (compare lined versus unlined drapes).
  • Color variation from using different types of liners with the same curtain color.
  • Shading rate does not meet expectations.

5. Returnable


In the following exceptional cases, we accept returns:

If you believe there is an issue with your product, please contact us immediately with detailed information about the problem. Feel free to include a photo to illustrate the issue, and make sure to quote your order number when reaching out via email. We will promptly repair or remake the product to match the original order, minimizing any inconvenience to you. We may request that the original curtains and shades be returned to us.

This applies in cases where:

  • We sent the wrong item.
  • An incorrect liner type was used.
  • The product is not as described.

6. Refunds


We will verify the reason for your refund. If we made a mistake, we will arrange the refund to you. If the return is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for any return shipping expenses unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

7. Exchanges


We currently do not offer direct exchanges for custom-made curtains. If you wish to exchange a defective or damaged item, we kindly ask you to follow the 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee process outlined above. Once the application is approved, you can place a new order for the corrected item on our website.

8. Non-eligible Returns


Any custom curtains that have been used, altered, or modified after delivery are not eligible for return or refund.

We do not accept returns for custom curtains if they do not meet your subjective aesthetic preferences.
